當你的寵物衰老或者死亡了，你會花巨款克隆一只類似的嗎？

北京一家生物科技公司最近告訴《環(huán)球時報》，中國第一只克隆貓將在明年三月誕生。

此前，這家公司還推出了克隆寵物狗的服務，價格在38萬元。雖然價格高的離譜，但是已經(jīng)有20個客戶下了訂單。

Zhao Jianping, a deputy general manager of Beijing-based biotech company Sinogene, told the Global Times on Tuesday that by using the same technology as was used to create the clone sheep Dolly, China's first clone cat is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2019.

北京希諾谷生物科技有限公司副總經(jīng)理趙建平告訴《環(huán)球時報》，用克隆綿羊多利的方法，中國的第一只克隆貓將在2019年的第一季度誕生。

Zhao noted that the clone has low research value, but his company is eyeing the huge potential of the pet cloning market in China.

趙經(jīng)理說，克隆寵物貓的科研價值比較低，但是市場潛力巨大。

The company also offers a pet dog cloning service, priced at 380,000 yuan ($55,117) each. Zhao said his company has received about 20 clients so far. It takes 6-10 months to clone an animal.

希諾谷從去年開始提供寵物狗克隆服務。克隆一只寵物狗的價格在38萬元人民幣左右。目前，公司已經(jīng)有20個客戶。克隆一只寵物狗大概需要六到十個月時間。

世界上第一只克隆狗是由韓國科學家在2005年實現(xiàn)的，而近年來，克隆自己的寵物成了社會名流們競相追捧的熱潮。

In recent years, instances of cloning pet dogs have been rising. This February, US actress Barbra Streisand revealed to Variety that she cloned her pet dog of 14 years. The former president of Iceland is also intending to clone his 11-year-old dog, according to Icelandic media.

近年來，克隆寵物狗的案例越來越多。比如，今年2月，美國女星芭芭拉史翠珊在Variety雜志的專訪中提到，她克隆了陪伴自己14年的寵物狗。此外，冰島的前總統(tǒng)也在媒體報道中表示，打算克隆他11歲的愛犬。

克隆出來的狗狗沒有記憶，但是它和被克隆犬在外形和性格上都會有許多相似之處，能讓主人想起自己原來的狗狗。
